This month, I'm delighted to feature a new favorite brand of mine: Kalinko. You don't see many brands from Burma for several reasons. To start, since the country’s recent coup, it's become one of the most challenging places to work. Yet through her passion, design eye, and years of experience, Sophie, the founder of Kalinko, has succeeded. Her brand has been one of the few outlets to help sustain vulnerable craft traditions while creating stable work for over 150 artisans in the region.
