This month, Im delighted to share an inspiring interview with designer, trend explorer, and colorist Rebecca Hoyes. I have been following Rebecca’s design work, specifically with artisans, for quite some time. It was such a pleasure to finally dive deeper and learn more about her work and design approach.
Rebecca has a deep curiosity for materials and processes, explored by merging traditional and contemporary techniques. She’s worked with major retailers to create memorable collections with artisan enterprises, including Habitat, the Anou Project, MADE51, Turquoise Mountain, and many others. She’s created products across a range of materials - everything from silk weaving and embroidery to glass blowing and warp printing.
