This past July, I had the opportunity to visit Corazon de Artesania, hosted by Artesanias de Galicia, one of the most authentic, soulful artisan shows I have attended in quite some time. The work on display was absolutely exquisite – leather smiths, for example, offering couture quality pieces. Most of the makers stayed true to local traditions, motifs, and materials, so the show was a true celebration of Galician craft and culture.
Over 56 artists were in attendance, offering a diverse range of products, from wood and natural fibers to local food, jewelry, textiles, hats, and more. The work displayed is a testament to the pride of the people who care deeply about preserving this special region in the world. Perfect for gallerists, museum buyers, and small boutique shops seeking unique and exquisite pieces. Some exhibitors are open to wholesale.
